What is Eucharist?
Eucharist (also known as Holy Communion) is one of the sacraments of Initiation. This sacrament is the receiving of Christ's Body and is believed to be the source of great graces which helps us to grow. Catholics believe that this sacrament is both a sacrifice and a meal. When we receive Christ's Body and Blood, we are brought closer to god. This sacrament is to do with the "Last Supper" in which Jesus shared the last meal with his disciples and we remember what he did for us in life, death and resurrection.
